**Property Claims Examiner**

K2 Claims Services, LLC (K2 Claims) is seeking **Property Claims Examiner** to join its Claims Team. This position will be primarily remote with occasional meetings/trainings in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.

K2 Claims is a third-party administrator who handles claims nationwide for various insurance carriers. The Claims Team specializes in claims handling meeting the unique needs of the insurance market.

K2 Claims is a subsidiary of K2 Insurance Services, LLC and is expanding its product offerings and distribution by developing new insurance programs and increasing the number and geographic diversity of its marketing, sales, and support staff.

The **Property Claims Examiner** will adjudicate claims from initial intake to final settlement.

Activities include and not limited to:

- Handling claims pursuant to state specific insurance regulations along with K2 Claims’ Best Practices.
- Provide excellent customer service to all stakeholders.
- Work closely with partners to correctly and efficiently complete coverage evaluations to efficiently resolve claims.
- Review and negotiate emergency service estimates with vendors.
- Evaluating and considering all subrogation/salvage opportunities.
- Utilizing available tools to resolve claims in the most efficient manner possible.

Ideally, the **Property Claims Examiner** will have:

- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a business or insurance-related major.
- Exhibit general property and construction knowledge.
- Exceptional customer service focus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent knowledge in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Flexibility for occasional business travel.
- Strong time management skills as this job will be based at home with mínimal supervision.

Pay Range: 70,000-85,000 USD anually
