Job Description Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated, interactive, and well-organized Research Specialist to assist in molecular biology, biochemistry, and cell biology research and daily operation of the laboratory of Dr. Gideon Dreyfuss.
Position is contingent on continued grant funding.
**Job Description**:
**Responsibilities**:
- Assist in lab research experiments in biochemistry, cell biology, and molecular biology- DNA/RNA sequencing, cloning, assisting with tissue culturing, preparing reagents and protein gels- Lab organization and other administrative support duties relating to lab operations, as required- Oversee and place orders for lab materials.- Serve as liaison for lab safety protocols and assist in communications- Perform additional duties as assigned
**Qualifications**:
Bachelor's Degree with 0-1 year of related experience in research and clinical study methodologies or an equivalent combination of education an experience required.
