**Position**: Analytical Development Associate III

A position is immediately available within our Research group for an Analytical Development Associate III. Capricor seeks a highly motivated and creative individual who is capable of independent work in a collaborative environment, to be a part of a fast-moving innovative team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct literature reviews
- Collect and analyze data
- Summarize experiment and data
- Provide ready access to all experimental data for the team researcher and/or supervisor
- Attend project meetings
- Summarize project results
- Prepare progress reports for the PI and PD, QC and manufacturing
- Prepare other articles, reports, and presentations
- Monitor the project reagents and materials
- Tissue harvesting and submitting samples for histology
- Sterile tissue culture
- RNA/DNA isolation from cells or tissues
- Flow cytometry analysis; and
- Perform PCR, qRT-PCR, or other basic molecular biology techniques
- Optimize assays such as ELISA, qPCR, NGS, flow cytometry, and cell-based assays
- Assist in the from-scratch design of potential assays (reagent selection, antibody compatibility, assay timing, etc.)
- Proficient in mammalian cell culture (adherent, suspension, primary cells, and cell lines)
- Engage with the AD team as a senior contributor by assisting with data organization and analysis
- Participate in cross-departmental projects with research, product development, and quality control
- Performs such other duties as may be assigned to you from time to time

**Requirements**:

- B.S. with 6 years biotech experience, M.S. with 4 years biotech experience. in bioengineering, biochemistry, or related scientific field.
- Ability to work as part of a team are required and to complete experiments, analyze data and provide results to end-users in a timely fashion is required
- Expertise and trouble shooting skills on molecular biology and cell culture.
- GMP experience preferred but not required
- Experience with flow cytometry, functional assays, DNA, RNA and protein analysis is preferred
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize work
