A DAY IN THE LIFE

Enthalpy Analytical, is part of the larger organization, Montrose Environmental Group, is comprised of over 9 laboratories servicing air, water, soil, and toxicology testing. Regulations drive the need for our services, but our unique capabilities allow us to add value to clients beyond environmental compliance.

Our San Diego, CA Laboratory is currently seeking a Full
- Time QA Associate to join our team.

As a key member of the laboratory team, this role will be responsible for a full range of activities including:

- Schedule, order, evaluate, and report Proficiency Testing samples; lead development of effective corrective actions for any failures.
- Assist with review and updates to SOPs and other laboratory documents.
- Schedule and maintain records of support equipment calibration.
- Maintain personnel training (demonstration of capability) records.
- Identify and document nonconformances; assist managers in monitoring effectiveness of corrective and preventative actions.
- Assist operational staff with troubleshooting assays and performing root cause analyses.
- Plan, perform, and document internal audits and data assessments.
- Assist with external audits by accreditation bodies and clients; work with management to respond to deficiencies.
- Assist with data review to support accurate and efficient completion of client test reports
- Perform routine review of data collection and log books in the laboratory.
- Report on key performance indicators to management.
- Proactively ensure compliance to Ethics & Data Integrity program.
- Comply with Enthalpy’s Health and Safety Plan.
- Other duties as assigned.

NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the duties and responsibilities.- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Biology, Microbiology, Chemistry or related sciences- Meet the minimum requirements of the facility’s accrediting bodies.- 2+ years of professional laboratory experience, preferably in a laboratory accredited to NELAP or ISO-17025.- 1+ years of experience in aquatic toxicology is preferred

PREFERRED SKILLS- Proficient with Microsoft Office software (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)- Knowledge of laboratory quality management systems- Good working knowledge of scientific terminology and research concepts- Able to collaborate with lab team members to gather, interpret and consolidate data, generate documentation and reporting, review data and information for presentation and review- Relevant knowledge of laboratory processes- Able to work independently, managing multiple
