**Essential Functions**:

- Travels regionally to call on existing and target customers
- Services existing accounts, obtains orders, and supports customer needs through frequent personal, written, and phone conversations.
- Serve as technical filtration consultant to the customer.
- Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
- Provides historical records by maintaining records on area and customer sales.
- Identify, design, develop and implement market-driven strategies to achieve revenue goals and the company’s mission.
- Increase customer base and add to existing customer profitability.
- Leverage our expanding product lines to capture market share from vulnerable strategic competitors
- Promote a customer-oriented focus and advocate consultative customer relationships.

**Experience, Education and Skills**:

- HS Diploma or GED
- Bachelor's degree in related discipline is preferred
- 5+ years experience in industrial sales
- 3+ years industrial filtration sales experience
- Valid drivers license
- Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills
- Computer proficiency to include use of laptop/desktop, MS Outlook, MS Excel, MS Word, ability to learn and use a CRM system.
