Apartment Assistant Manager

The community has won National Awards for its layout over 32 acres with 7 pools, spas, indoor and outdoor fitness centers, and beautiful landscaping that includes a flowing stream and waterfalls. The newly renovated apartment homes include contemporary wood flooring, 17 foot beam ceilings, fireplaces, large patio/balconies, and W/D in many floor plans. Located in a wonderful West Cupertino neighborhood, as well as the top Cupertino school district, the community is walking distance to Apple Computer Headquarters and shops/restaurants, and close to the Stevens Creek Running/Bike Trail.
The Assistant Manager would be handling prospect tours, lease paperwork, resident requests, etc. The Assistant must have excellent renting, organization, and computer skills (Yardi Preferred), as well as strong verbal/written communication skills and be detail oriented. On-site management experience required, knowledge of tenant/landlord laws, and college education preferred.
We are a local Company that offers great stability and a team environment with great support/training. We do no fee management and own all of the communities we manage, so there is wonderful stability without the concern of properties losing their fee management contracts or being bought, fixed up, and sold as is often the case in the industry. All communities are in desirable SF Bay Area/Silicon Valley locations on the Peninsula or in the South Bay, and all are kept to high quality standards knowing we will be managing them for many years to come. We have an excellent reputation in the industry, and we are a founding member of the Housing Industry Foundation (HIF), and involved with the Boards of HIF and TCAA/CAA.
Position includes salary plus rent free premium apartment included (sorry, no pets), monthly bonus, and great benefits. No smoking rules apply. References required.
Pay: $78,000.00 - $83,000.00 per year
