Employment Type: Contract/Hybrid

Location: Cupertino, CA 

Pay rate: $100-$110/hr ,DOE

Responsibilities:

  • Drive day-to-day activities to meet overall project objectives/schedule from development to ramp
  • Enable the development effort by implementing an efficient, streamlined process within the team
  • Create and maintain project development schedules
  • Manage resources effectively to execute projects on schedule
  • Prioritize across multiple programs with various levels of complexity
  • Collaborate across engineering, operations and cross-functional teams to meet aggressive cost, schedule, and quality/process goals
  • Lead cross-functional communication between various project teams and external vendors Implement schedule/risk mitigations and drive timely issue resolution
  • Ability to provide status updates or highlight issues to any audience
  • Understand technical issues and drive them to closure by bringing together key stakeholders for decision making

Requirements:

  • BS ME degree or equivalent required
  • Ability to filter and distill relevant information for the right audience
  • Self-motivated and proactive with demonstrated critical thinking capabilities
  • Understands rapid development cycles and is adaptable in the face of ambiguity
  • Redirect pitfalls and develop improved course of action
  • Detailed knowledge of product development processes and strong understanding of manufacturing processes
  • Experience interfacing with product design, operations, cross-functional teams and managing international vendors
  • At least 2-4+ years of combined experience in project management and mechanical engineering delivering products comprised of various materials and high esthetic quality
