The** Inventory Control Coordinator** will be responsible for forecasting, ordering, and transferring all inventoried products.

**Responsibilities**:

- **_Daily_**
- Monitoring out of stock items
- Review Backorder Report, verify received orders
- Communicate all problems/issues/out of stocks, overstocks, under stocks, etc.
- Handle item level file maintenance
- Key in expected orders
- Daily review of TQM report with emphasis on “short on truck” as well as scratch sheet adjustments
- Monitor shrinkage and report to Operations Manager and Warehouse Manager
- Distribute reports and all company notifications as required (Received/Red Alert)
- **_Weekly_**
- Review and prioritize over 60 day inventory report
- Analyze all forecasted sales vs actual
- Review inventory levels to adjust for under and overstocked items
- Coordinate inventory transfers with other wholesalers as needed
- Monitor deleted/discontinued/special order items
- Monitor and coordinate cooperage returns with the Warehouse Manager
- **_Monthly_**
- Place orders with suppliers
- Communicate forecasts with sales managers
- Cycle Count on-floor inventory and review of variances on daily transactions
- Month end cooperage counts
- **_General_**
- Establish relationships with suppliers and Brand Managers
- Negotiate and set up freight
- Assist on special projects as assigned

**Requirements**:

- Enthusiastic, high energy, and self-motivated individual with a desire to succeed
- Proven ability to be resilient and deliver results
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Superior organizational skills with ability to prioritize, multi-task and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Bachelor’s degree with a major in a business or supply chain related field preferred

**Critical Physical Demands**:

- Sufficient manual dexterity to operate business equipment including, but not limited to, computer keyboard, telephone, adding machine and copier
- Sufficient manual dexterity to operate equipment including, but not limited to, forklift, pallet jack, hand truck (Certification)
- Climbing stairs and inclined surfaces on an occasional basis
- Walking on hard surfaces on a frequent basis
- Frequent exposure to temperatures ranging from 30 - 100 degrees F on a seasonal basis
- Two handed lifting of up to 40 pounds from floor to shoulder height on a regular basis
