- **DESIRABLE KNOWLEDGE**_

**Materials, equipment, methods, and practices used in the maintenance, operation, repair, and construction of parks, athletic fields, playgrounds, aquatic facilities, roadways, trails and other related facilities.**

**Office management practice and methods, including establishment of an efficient file system for records management.**

**Practices and principles of park management, including a sound knowledge of turf maintenance and landscaping.**

**Carpentry, plumbing, electrical skills of a general nature in coordinating routine maintenance and repair of park facilities and grounds.**

**Various chemical, pesticides and herbicides used in controlling plant and**

**vegetation diseases and pests.**

**maintenance.**

**Supervisory practices and techniques.**

**Budget preparation and expense monitoring.**
- **DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS**_

**Undergraduate degree in related field.**

**3-5 years xperience in park management.**
- **PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS**_

**Must possess and maintain a valid Pennsylvaniadriver's license.**

**Current certification in CPR.**

**Criminal and Child Abuse background check.**

**Playground Inspector Certification.**

**Certified Pool Operators Certificate.**

**Pesticide Applicator Liscense**

**Water Slide Inspector Certification**
