**Major Duties**:
Responsible for planning, directing, initiating, and implementing a comprehensive marketing strategy in support of a variety of MCCS programs functions. Utilizes multiple communication methods and techniques, to include oral, written, visual and personal media for the purpose of informing the general public about the programs, services, special events and policies sponsored by or affiliated with MCCS operations.

Functions as the lead graphics editor, assigning and selecting the visuals to illustrate stories and campaigns. Responsible for ensuring consistent branding across all marketing channels to
deliver a seamless experience for our audience, even when our products exist on multiple platforms. Proactively participates with MCCS activities in planning video, audiovisual, print, animation, and multimedia projects. Plans, organizes work, and manages internal procedures and resources to ensure maximum productivity and economies. Prepares internal office financial plans and related records and reports, and exercises authority on approved budget. Monitors programs on a regular basis and initiates corrective action to ensure support of operating programs of MCCS.

Supervises employees to include assigning and distributing work, coaching, counseling, tutoring and mentoring employees; approving and disapproving leave, recommending, and completing personnel actions, completing performance reviews, and approving time and training employees. Must be alert to substance abuse and take appropriate action. Effectively supports the Marine Corps Equal Employment Opportunity and Sexual Harassment policies, and ensures compliance with fire, safety, and other environmental issues and programs. Maintains and enforces security of funds, merchandise, supplies, and equipment to preclude or minimize the potential for fraud, waste, and abuse.

Oversees content, and design within brand standards on all assets. Develops content for multiple marketing platforms like electronic marquees and digital signage. Organize and track all analytics (program attendance, website, and more). Conducts market research, including demographics, surveys, focus groups, etc. and compiles data into regular reports to determine trends, program effectiveness, and customer preferences. Provides and briefs comprehensive reports to analyze campaign results. Monitors website content and assists in updating the website. Assists in communication and promotional requirements, which may include writing, photography, and other public relations activities.

Provides World Class Customer Service with an emphasis on courtesy. Assists customers and communicates positively in a friendly manner. Takes action to solve problems quickly. Alerts the higher-level supervisor, or proper point of contact, for help when problems arise. Adheres to safety regulations and standards. Promptly reports any observed workplace hazards, and any injury, occupational illness, and/or property damage resulting from workplace mishaps to the immediate supervisor.

Performs other related duties as assigned. This is a white-collar position where occasional lifting up to 20 lbs. may be required.
