**Discover Impactful Work**:
The Project Manager III in the Customs/Specials/OEM (CSO) team leads projects, that drive the production and delivery of custom products to customers, manufactured in Carlsbad. This role serves to facilitate the information flow between internal functions within the Carlsbad site and to act as a liaison between Operations, Sales, Commercial teams and customers.

**A Day in the Life**:

- Lead customer orders from receipt of order to shipment of final custom product.
- Track progress of multiple orders to ensure on time shipment, address issues, and communicate status of orders.
- Interact with customers (directly or indirectly) and diverse global teams (_e.g_., customer service, planning, manufacturing, distribution, quality, technical operations, R&D, product management, sales and commercial).
- Own and resolve quality related issues, including Problem Records.
- Evaluate new custom inquiries of various complexity, including customer requirements, feasibility, estimated manufacturing costs and quote generation.
- Create or update SKU related infrastructure (_i.e._, SKU creation, labels, manufacture documents, COA templates).
- Gain a solid understanding of Thermo Fisher Scientific’s manufacturing process and Standard Operating Procedures.
- Collaborate with multiple parties to document team process and improve current processes.
- Provide support, training or expertise to other team members as necessary.

**Keys to Success**:
**Education and Experience**
- Bachelor’s degree in Biology or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- 3+ years of work experience in biotech or pharma.
- Project Management and/or Customer Support related experience preferred.

**Knowledge, Skills, Abilities**:

- Strong communication, organization and time management skills.
- Ability to work highly independently, multi-task and prioritize tasks.
- Demonstrates strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.
- Use of independent judgment to make decisions.
- Strong attention to detail and follow-up skills.
- Advanced proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Word, and Excel) required. Ability to learn multiple computer software and tools.
- Work remote and on-site. Might attend and participate in on-site events/audits.

**Compensation and Benefits**

The salary range estimated for this position based in California is $83,300.00-$125,000.00.
