The job of an Assembly Technician is to carry out of the objectives of the V.P. of
Operations including but not limited to: PCB Board Assembly, Soldering, PCB Board
testing, repairs and troubleshooting. Includes troubleshooting and repair of circuit
boards down to component level, as well as testing of newly manufactured circuit
boards.

This effort requires extensive knowledge of circuit design and logic, and the ability to
read and understand electronic schematic drawings. In addition should be able to test
and troubleshoot manufacturer control panels with power distribution (AC/DC circuits)
analog signals (4-20Ma, 0-5vdc) as well as work with Programmable Logic Controllers
(PLC)

The successful applicant must be familiar with the use of DVMs and oscilloscopes, as
well as the use of computers and computerized test programs. Ability to solder boards
and cables is required.

Experience with Control Panel assembly, panel layouts, responsible for assembling a
whole product or individual parts of a manufactured item.

The qualified applicant shall be able to take instruction for training on HSQ Product and
assemblies.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Ability to Solder IC components on PCB Boards on component level.- Test PCB Boards assembly products on component level.
- Produce panel enclosures and Remote Terminal Units (RTUs) from assembly
- and schematic electrical drawings and Bills of Materials.- Mount electrical components such as Terminal Blocks, breakers, relays,

resistors, transistors capacitors integrated circuits relays and sockets on PCB
Board or chassis panel
- Maintain equipment stocking levels for adding to and relieving from established

inventory stock system.
- Handle various raw materials involved in the manufacturing processes.
- Point to point testing.
- Labeling of components and wiring.
- Wiring and cabling of RTUs and panel enclosures and field wire pulling.
- Prepare products for shipping.

**Qualifications**:

- Experience in PCB Board soldering- Control panel layouts, assembly and wiring
- The employee must be familiar with reading drawings and blueprints. Also, have

knowledge of using all parts, equipment, tools, and different techniques for
assembly and packaging and shipping.
