Actual salary offers consider factors, including budget, prior experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business considerations. Salary offers at the top of the range are not common. - 5 - 7 years Admissions experience, preferably in a secondary school environment (required)
- Strong communication skills, including exceptional writing skills, experience writing formal means of business communication, and public speaking skills (required)
- Experience working with diverse populations (required)
- Ability to make excellent decisions, extremely detail-oriented, highly organized, and strong interpersonal skills (required)
- Ability to evaluate transcripts from a variety of academic institutions, including but not limited to traditional, special-program, and international schools to assess student preparedness. (required)
- Ability to work effectively, conceptualize and prioritize objectives and exercise independent judgment based on an understanding of organizational policies and activities (required)
- Extensive knowledge of enrollment management databases and client relationship management software such as the Blackbaud K-12 suite (required)
- Knowledge of strategic recruitment process and the matriculation of prospective students and enrollment management (required)
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, goal-driven environment (required)
- Ability to work non-traditional hours during peak recruiting and evaluation seasons (required)
- Ability to plan visits and prepare presentations for feeder schools and access organizations (required)
- Ability to manage departmental budget and interface with program and school leadership on business matters (required)
Education, Licenses, Certifications, & Professional Affiliations:
- Bachelor's Degree in Education, Communications, or closely related field or equivalent combination of education and experience (required)
- Master's Degree Education; Communications; or closely related filed (preferred)
Special Conditions of Employment:
- Background Check: Continued employment is contingent upon the completion of a satisfactory background investigation.
- Live Scan Background Check: A Live Scan background check must be completed prior to the start of employment.
- TB Test: Continued employment is contingent upon the completion of a satisfactory TB test.
- CANRA: The position is designated as a mandatory reporter under CANRA. The employee must sign the "Statement Acknowledging Requirement to Report Child Abuse".
