We are currently hiring a Part -Time Accountant to join our accounting team. This role will assist not only Wynalda Packaging, but our other subsidiaries as well.

The Part-Time Accountant will provide support to Wynalda’s accounting department, including the accounts payable desk, general ledger accounting, cost accounting, sales tax, and account reconciliation. This position reports to the company’s Controller.

**Job Type: Part-Time. This position will require 20-24 hours per week and up to 30 hours or more during the busy season from late September thru early February.**

**Job Duties**:

- Prepare month end close documents
- Invoice customers
- Prepare monthly bank reconciliations
- Process vendor payments
- File sales tax returns
- Review monthly Job Cost comparison reports for variances
- Cross-training with existing Accounting Staff

**Qualifications**:

- 2-4 years’ experience within an accounting related role preferred.
- Practical knowledge of accounting procedures and principles
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Proficient with Word, Excel and Outlook
- Microsoft GP knowledge a plus
- Integrity, with an ability to handle confidential information

**Job Type**: Part-time

Expected hours: 25 - 30 per week

- Office
