**Expected Salary**:

**Minimum Requirements**:
Ph.D. in Chemistry, Biochemistry or a closely related area
Strong background in natural products isolation and structural elucidation, including 1D and 2D NMR, LC- or GC-MS
**Preferred Qualifications**:
Previous experience with any of the following techniques:
- Organic synthesis
- Molecular biology
- Bacterial genetics, including work with _Streptomyces_
- Microbial fermentation
- Protein purification and characterization
- Bioinformatics
- A strong track record of publications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to take initiative, set priorities, time-manage, and resolve problems
