We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Postdoctoral Research Associate to join our team at InsideHigherEd. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Chemical Biology, Biochemistry, Molecular and Cellular Biology, Immunology, or a related field.
Key Responsibilities- Design and execute experiments in Chemical Biology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Cellular Biology, and Immunology to elucidate molecular mechanisms underlying physiological processes or disease pathogenesis.
- Work closely with other researchers to leverage expertise and resources for comprehensive investigations and integrated approaches to address complex scientific questions.
- Utilize advanced bioinformatics tools, biochemical assays, molecular biology techniques, and immunological assays to analyze experimental results, interpret findings, and generate hypotheses for further investigation.
- Present results at scientific conferences and contribute to the preparation of manuscripts for publication in peer-reviewed journals.
- Provide guidance and support to graduate students, undergraduate students, and laboratory technicians involved in research projects.
- Foster a collaborative and productive research environment by sharing knowledge, troubleshooting experimental procedures, and promoting scientific rigor and integrity.
- A Ph.D. in Chemical Biology, Biochemistry, Molecular and Cellular Biology, Immunology, or a related field.
- Publications in high-impact journals (at least two in IF > 5; or one in IF > 10).
- Experience in working with genetically modified mice.
- Preference will be given to applicants who have received their PhD between 2023 and 2024.
- Preference given to individuals trained at US academic institutions.
