**Duties**:

- Provide identification cards to active-duty members, retired military personnel and family members for all branches of service.
- Provide technical guidance and training for transaction processing and various system software.
- Provide information to the Supervisor for promotions, reassignments, and recognition of exceptional performance.
- Maintain internal controls to keep track of identification cards as they are issued and destroyed.
- Maintain common access card stockage for audit trail purposes.

**Conditions of Employment**:

- This is an obligated position. An obligated position is one to which an employee has statutory restoration rights or entitlement based on active military service, recovery from a compensable injury, or return rights based on an overseas tour.
- You will be asked to sign an agreement acknowledging that you are aware of the obligation and willing to be displaced under reduction in force procedures upon the return of the former incumbent.
- This is a Temporary position intended to last 1 year. A temporary position may be extended to a maximum of three years and may be terminated at any time during the duration of the appointment, depending upon the needs of management.

- **Proficiency Required**:This position requires a qualified typist. A qualified typist can type 40 words per minute based on a 5-minute sample with three or fewer errors.

**Education**:
Some Federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone-no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
