Behavioral Health Program Director

**Job Summary**:
The Behavioral Health Program Director acts to guide program direction, monitor the management of the program resources, and oversee the coordination of service delivery. This position is an independently licensed behavioral health professional who ensures the provision of quality and cost-effective integrated services. This position will work with community partners, business leaders and other programs to expand NOAH’s services and make NOAH the agency of choice when community partners refer patients.
**Supervisory Responsibilities**:
- Provides exceptional leadership and promotes teamwork and collaboration.
- Creates an environment that supports high employee and provider engagement.
- Strategically selects, assists in recruitment and onboarding as needed.
- Continuously develops, rewards, retains, and provides transparent performance feedback to all staff, leaders, and providers.
**Duties/Responsibilities**:
- Collaborate with the Director of Operations and Practice Managers to address operational challenges and implement effective solutions for the integrated care model.
- Coordinates the planning, design and execution of initiatives and projects identified by senior leadership. Responsible for facilitating and/or leading effective communication around all projects to a variety of stakeholders, including providers and Executive leaders.
- Monitors the behavioral health KPI and workflow and revises operational procedures as necessary, in alignment with system practices, to ensure efficiency and drive extraordinary results.
- Identifies and implements improvements and efficiencies, including identified quality indicators.
- Ensures that high quality patient care and customer service is delivered in the most financially efficient way.
- Prepares and executes budget; monitors and approves payroll for managers.
- Ensures compliance for various accrediting bodies and government agencies and ensures all necessary reviews, audits, education, and training are completed to maintain compliant status.
- Works with marketing to build and maintain community partnerships and relationships to attract new customers, retain existing customers and support NOAH’s desired brand positioning.
- Attends, participates, and/or assists in meetings, trainings, community outreach activities, continuing education opportunities, and other activities as required.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
**Education and Experience**:
- Master’s degree in social work (MSW), counseling (MC), or another behavior health related field required.
- Actively licensed as: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage Family Therapist (LMFT).
- In good standing with the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners required.
- 1+ years in Behavioral Health Counseling or related work experience required.
- 2+ years of leadership experience in Behavioral Health, Psych, or other sub-specialties preferred.
- Experience with providing care to Medicaid patients required.
**Other Requirements**:
- New Hires are required to pass pre-employment background check and drug testing (effective 11/1/2022).
- Current Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card or must pass fingerprint clearance within 7 days following hire.
