As the Manager for Insider Threat Management, you will spearhead the operational arm of a team entrusted with monitoring and appraising threats to GEICO’s cybersecurity infrastructure. In this role, you will implement protocols to swiftly alert management of any suspicious activities while collaborating closely with leadership to craft strategic blueprints for pertinent business processes.

Core Responsibilities:
The position of Manager for Insider Threat Management empowers you to sculpt your daily endeavors autonomously, all while collaborating with driven peers who share your fervor. You'll shine in the following domains.

Leadership and Talent Cultivation: Lead, mentor, and nurture the insider threat team, fostering a culture of perpetual refinement and professional evolution.

Detection and Analysis of Insider Threats: Deploy and oversee cutting-edge systems for identifying suspicious activities and potential insider threats, utilizing sophisticated data analytics to discern irregular patterns and behaviors.

Optimization of Security Solutions: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to elevate the efficacy of security technologies, encompassing Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), and User and Entity Behavioral Analytics (UEBA), in safeguarding sensitive information.

Development of Policies and Procedures: Formulate and uphold comprehensive frameworks for managing insider threats, ensuring adherence to industry benchmarks and regulatory mandates.

Engagement with Key Stakeholders: Foster collaboration with essential stakeholders, including senior management, to align insider threat management strategies with organizational objectives, thereby garnering widespread support and comprehension.

Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience with Insider Threat mitigation.- 5+ years of experience with supporting or executing government policies and procedures.

Preferred Experience:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.- Leadership: Demonstrated proficiency in guiding and motivating team members towards the attainment of shared objectives.- Team Development: Established track record of fostering collaborative environments conducive to team growth.- Conflict Resolution: Aptitude for effectively addressing and resolving disputes within teams.- Analytical Skills: Proficiency in interpreting and analyzing data to uncover potential insider threats.- Technical Acumen: In-depth understanding of cybersecurity principles, technologies, and tools.- Communication Skills: Effective verbal and written communication abilities.- Problem-Solving: Ability to tackle and resolve intricate issues efficiently.- Attention to Detail: Meticulous in monitoring systems and analyzing data.- Discretion and Ethical Conduct: Demonstrated capacity for handling sensitive information ethically and responsibly.- Adaptability: Agility and responsiveness in the face of evolving cyber threats.
