Operations Coordinator

**JOB SUMMARY**:
The Operations Coordinator will provide administrative support to the Sustaining and Production department roles. This position will work within the department to provide support related to procurement, production, facilities, and engineering teams. Role will provide an organized approach to managing tasks and assignments that support the overall department and continue to improve processes and offer efficient solutions to those assignments.

**ESSENTIAL** **JOB** **DUTIES** **AND**

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Schedule/coordinate sterilization shipment and appointments
- Schedule/coordinate mold repairs with vendors
- Production sampling coordination
- Support as backup for transactional receipts and receiving of product
- Support operations/engineering/facilities with souring and purchasing MRO supplies
- Submit and monitor purchase orders
- Support facilities with vendor communication and follow-up on scheduling
- EH& Support - training, maintenance, waste management, and documentation
- Work to assigned priorities

- Demonstrates a proactive work ethic with ability and willingness to assist on multitude of administrative tasks and seeking opportunities to assist.
- Strong verbal and communication skills.
- High degree of attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Exemplary in executing work in a timely, detailed, and clear manner.
- Flexibility to work on changed priorities as required to meet business goals.
- Develop and maintain documentation archives.
- Strong organization skills with ability to multi-task.
- Proficiency in use of standard professional software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Acrobat, etc).
- A self-driven, life-long learner.
- Able to lift 20-25 lbs.

**EDUCATION** **AND** **EXPERIENCE**:

- Minimum Associate Degree
- Minimum 2 years of work-related experience as an assistant/support function.

**PHYSICAL**

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Must be able to remain in a stationary position at least 50% of the time.
- Occasionally move about inside the office and travel to and from office buildings to access file cabinets, employee offices, office machinery, etc. This may include, but is not limited to, bending and walking.
- Must be able to operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computer printer, computer keyboard, calculator, etc.
- Ability to listen and speak with employees and vendors. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
- Occasionally lift up to 25 pounds and transport to other offices. This may be performed with reasonable accommodation.
- View and type on computer screens for long periods of time.
