Patient Care Coordinator

Staten Island, United States Paramount Oral Surgery Full time

Dental receptionist needed for a busy oral surgery practice.

Duties include:

- Greet patients in a friendly and professional manner and make them feel comfortable.
- Schedule, cancel, and reschedule appointments as needed.
- Prepare patient charts, update patient information, and file paperwork.
- Collect payments from patients, file insurance claims, and track their progress. They may also need to translate dental services into billable codes.
- Answer and respond to phone calls and patient inquiries.
- Dental Charting and Treatment Planning
- Organization, time management, and multitasking abilities.
- Checking insurance eligibility and obtaining full breakdowns.
- Sort and organize incoming and outgoing mail

Should be sincere, hardworking, showing team work with excellent communication skills.

Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
