**Production Supervisor**

Our subsidiary, Ecoservices, is on the hunt for a **Production Supervisor** based at our **Houston, TX** plant.

This position is accountable for the day-to-day safe, reliable, and efficient operation of the site and is responsible for the R2 Operations department. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Assist Unit Manager in hiring, training, and developing Operators, promoting accountability culture on site.
- Work with Unit Manager to document hourly recognition and/or discipline.
- Oversee daily operations.
- Address current issues and opportunities to improve by coordinating with Maintenance, Lab, Logistics, HS, Environmental.
- Set Operator work schedules.
- Review & approve timecards and vacations.
- Make field observations daily and commend or correct observations as needed.
- Ensure all log-sheets, inspections checklists, start up and shutdown checklists, and SOPs are current, accurate, understood, and well utilized.
- Monitor daily raw material and finished good inventory levels and forecast future levels.
- Set daily production rates.
- Write daily production instructions.
- Write work notifications on equipment issues found.
- Review, edit, and approve site’s SAP work notifications into work orders
- Coordinate priorities of work order with maintenance department through Planning and Scheduling meetings.
- Prioritize/authorize daily work order Break Ins to maintenance schedule.
- Oversee shutdown, work execution, and start up with emphasis on safety, schedule, and quality.
- Support planning, execution, and documentation of turnaround activities.
- Drive shop floor equipment ownership and engagement.
- Track and respond to quality trends to make sure unit is consistently producing on specification product.
- Enforce site standards and best practices such as equipment labelling.
- Review monthly safety inspections performed by operators and loaders.
- Review operator log sheets daily.
- Manage water treatment program, including semi-annual program reviews.
- Review water treatment logs daily.
- Lead daily Production Meeting.
- Periodically serve as On Duty Supervisor.
- Supervise contractors as needed.

**Health, Safety, and Environmental Responsibilities**:

- Be your brother’s keeper.
- Comply with environmental limits and permit.
- Complete all quarterly & yearly training. (FMTs)
- Follow the 10 Expectations of Leaders.
- Follow Life Saving Behaviors.
- Use Stop Work.
- Participate in BBS.
- Properly inspect, use, maintain PPE in accordance with PPE Matrix.
- Do ONLY what you have been trained to do.
- Be knowledgeable of and comply with all applicable site, corporate and regulatory safety and environmental requirements.
- Ensure procedures are written, understood, followed, and kept current for your area.
- Engage your team members in reviews of the procedures.
- Ensure all SOPs are certified annually.
- Ensure Incident Reports are submitted in a timely manner.
- Investigate all assigned incident investigations in a timely manner.
- Communicate results of investigations to Operations Manager timely.
- Understand and support continuous improvement through RC14001 and Ecovyst 20 Principles.
- Ensure timely resolution/completion of Safety Work Orders.
- Responsible for employee safety.
- Ensure employee compliance with HSE Expectations.
