Job Summary:
The Welding and Abrasive Specialist will provide technical support to the sales team across all Welding and Abrasive product lines, continually looking for emerging technologies in the Welding and Abrasive industries that will enhance the product offering.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support to sales associates regarding Welding & Abrasives.
  • Search for emerging technologies in the industry that will enhance the product offering.
  • Determine new technology fit with existing product line.
  • Look for opportunities to expand product offerings.
  • Develop strategic product plans.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Regional travel required some overnights.

Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in the Welding industry.
  • Certified Welding sales rep. (CWSR), Certified Welding Supervisor (CWS) or equivalent.
  • Able to work with cross-functional teams to achieve company goals.
  • Track record of managing a category across divisions/companies.
  • Deep knowledge of pricing methodologies and relevant competitive markets.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Welding:2 years (required)
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required
