**Job duties include**:
- Answer, screen, and transfer phone calls.
- Insurance Verification.
- Checking in patients.
- Collecting Co-payments.
- Scheduling and confirming appointments of patients.
- General clerical duties including photocopying, fax, and mailing.
- Maintain electronic and hard copy filing system and retrieve documents when needed.
- Handle request for information and data.
- Resolve administrative problems and inquiries and prepare written responses to routine inquiries.
- Assist provider with all administrative and credentialing needs.
- Assist with other administrative duties as requested.
- Daily filing and file maintenance.
- Light cleaning of front desk, waiting areas, and treatment rooms and restrooms, including emptying trash at end of day.
**Qualities needed for this position**:
- Professional appearance.
- Friendly and professional attitude.
- Dependable.
- Ability to learn and adapt to new systems/procedures.
- Excellent telephone skills.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Customer service experience.
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Computer skills and attention to detail is a must.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be able to work independently.
**Experience required for position**:
- Insurance Verification of PPO plans, knowledge of HMO protocols.
- Excellent communication and writing skills.
- Experience in the Medical field is a plus.
- Experience with ChiroTouch scheduling system a plus.
- Knowledge of operation of standard office equipment.
- Knowledge of clerical and administrative procedures and systems such as filing and record keeping.
Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 - 42 per week
