**Medical Case Manager (Remote Based Position)**
**Job Opening**
GoRecruitment is looking for a Medical Case Manager who is passionate about healthcare, can work in a fast-moving environment, and is looking for professional growth within an organization. The desired case manager will have an active registered nurse license and have exceptional communication, interpersonal, and writing skills. The position is remotely based and requires traveling to medical appointments of injured workers.
**Requirements**:
- Active RN license in the state of employment
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- At least one year of experience, preferably in a field case nurse position
- Recent graduates will be considered dependent on education or experience
- Fluent in English speaking and writing
- Fluent in Spanish-speaking

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Manage 20-25 field case files (based on a full-time field basis)
- Administrate 40-55 telephonic case management files (based on a fully remote basis)
- Follow and execute case management protocols
- Communicate with insurance companies and or employers
- Provide injury analysis, diagnosis, and determination of proper medical treatment based on disability guidelines
- Demonstrate clinical expertise with medical staff
- Establish return-to-work projections
- Actively participate in continuous improvement activities
**Performance Requirements**
- Understand and know the principles and practices of occupational health
- Have the ability to travel to patient medical appointments
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Great customer service skills
- Be able to work with patients of all ages
- Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization's management systems
- Good time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite or related software
