As a Treasury Sales Associate in Middle Market Banking - Healthcare, Higher Education & Nonprofit (HHN) segment, you will play an integral part in contributing to new sales targets, managing business relationships, and achieving portfolio growth objectives. The three-year development plan designed for a progression of job functions to develop skills over time for a successful career within the firm and ability to pursue more senior roles within the Treasury Solutions such as a Treasury Management Officer position. This is a client facing role who will collaborate with Treasury Management Officers (TMO's) to help support their sales targets and achieve portfolio growth. This includes serving as the secondary officer supporting Treasury Sales activities within assigned portfolio of clients ranging in size from $50 Million in revenue to over $1 Billion.
Job Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Treasury Management Officer (TMO) on client proposals to identify appropriate Treasury solutions, perform cost and benefit analysis, competitive pricing and run profitability models
- Assist with client call preparation by creating relationship review materials, pitch books, account plans, and conducting customer research, work on and contribute to Requests for Proposals (RFPs)
- Work with TMOs on pricing and profitability models
- Develop an understanding of clients' Treasury cash management structure and objectives
- Coordinate with product partners to develop comprehensive Treasury solutions
- Develop and understand competitors’ products and positioning within the client & market
- Partner with TMOs throughout the sales cycle to manage pipeline and ensure services and pricing are set up timely and accurately
- Collaborate with internal partners to ensure successful implementation, product ramp-up and accurate pricing and billing
- Partner and collaborate with bankers and internal product partners to best serve the
Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills
- Bachelor's Degree
- Three plus years’ relevant banking and treasury experience
- Time management, organizational and planning skills with proven ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Superior verbal and written communication skills with the ability to mobilize internal networks and resources
- Ability to understand Treasury Solutions products, pricing philosophy, and billing process and procedures
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel and Word)
- Ambition to develop into an individual sales contributor
- Team player with demonstrated problem solving skills
- Ability to travel up for in person meetings with clients and prospects
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills
- Sales, portfolio management or relationship management experience
- Qualitative and quantitative skills
