**Description:JOB PURPOSE**
To provide administrative support and develop workflow processes and systems for a department and/or Department Director with mínimal supervision and direction.

Role to include answering phones, scheduling meetings, taking minutes, ensuring adequate office supply inventory, assisting with department timekeeping, and submitting orders/invoices, etc.

**SHIFT: 7:30AM -4PM OR 8:00AM -4:30PM**
**CONTRACT LENGTH: 16 WKS**
**START DATE: ASAP**

**DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Composes correspondence without draft contents.
- Coordinates travel arrangements and other duties or projects as needed.
- Enters data into a database, provides summary reports, and adds fields as necessary.
- Schedule meetings and appointments. Transcribes minutes of meetings.
- Answers, screens, and initiates phone calls rerouting inquiries for department.
- Coordinates gathering of input, documents, etc. from single sources for reports and
- presentations.
- Serves as liaison for the department/work unit.

**REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS**
- Minimum Education: Associate Degree
- Technical Requirements: Intermediate Word, Excel and Outlook skills, Min. 45 wpm keyboarding/typing speed
- Years of Experience: 1-3 yrs. Related work experience

**Job Types**: Temporary, Contract

Pay: $20.94 - $25.22 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Morning shift

**Experience**:

- Administrative Assistant: 3 years (preferred)
