**Nature & Purpose of Position**
- The College of Education (COE) Office of the Dean is seeking a student assistant to help with day-to-day events.**Primary responsibilities include**:

- Frequent interaction with vendors, students, faculty, staff, and college administration, related to College of Education.
- Responsible for answering multi-line phones, including transferring calls and direction of phone calls.
- Maintaining office supply inventory
- Copying, sorting, scanning, and assisting with various office projects.

**Other Requirements for the Position**
- Qualifications- Ability to work in a team environment
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Effective communication skills
- Proficient Computer Skills (i.e., Microsoft Office, Canva, etc.)
- The College of Education is committed to flexibility based on students’ schedules and offers multiple days off a year, including all student holidays, to ensure continued flexibility and a commitment to student success. Professionalism, excellent customer service skills, and willingness to learn are essential for this position, as this position is a representation of the College of Education.- The COE offers a competitive pay structure that compensates student assistants based on longevity with the COE and performance. The pay for this position starts at $8.50/hr. On average, students work approximately 19.5 hours per week and may work up to 28 hours per week, depending on availability and budget.**Open Date**
