**SUMMARY**:The Fleet Manager is responsible for monitoring, maintaining and improving the transportation programs, processes and procedures used in support of the construction and service vehicle fleets across HB Mechanical business divisions. This vital role will perform many organizational and management tasks in support of the business.

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Oversee vehicle programs (incl. lease, maintenance, telematics, and fuel), including vendor selection, management, and contract (re-)negotiation.
- Deliver timely financial reporting with analysis on fleet programs, including spending, savings, key initiatives, issues, and corrective actions.
- Partner with divisions to execute on all onboarding and offboarding of assets
- Maintain knowledge of current vehicle policies, regulations, and laws for each applicable state.
- Maintain registration and licensing of all vehicles.
- Managing data and information within Fleet Management Platform (Fleetio)
- Maintain telematics devices and manage the telematics program (Verizon)
- Ensure compliance with U.S. Department of Transport/FMCSA laws and regulations.
- Monitor vehicle service and inspection records and facilitate communications with local divisions to effect timely completion.
- Work with HB Mechanical Safety/Risk team to develop and continuously update Vehicle Safety Policies and encourage their full adoption.
- Support fleet related integration activities for new division acquisitions.
- Triage Ad HOC requests from the business units
- Performs additional duties as assigned

**EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE and SKILLS**:

- 4-year bachelor’s degree in business or related field or equivalent combination of experience/education
- 3-5+ years of experience in fleet operations or service/coordination (fleet management preferred)
- Ability to be self-motivated and maintain a flexible work schedule, with limited travel
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Computer proficiency (Office365) with skill in data analysis and results interpretation
- Knowledge of DOT rules and regulations regarding fleet operations

**PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS**:

- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
- Ability to travel to various divisions and worksites as needed

Pay: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
