About the Role:
The Trailer Maintenance Specialist is tasked with ensuring the effective repair and upkeep of trailers, promoting safe and efficient operations. This role demands a high level of expertise in trailer maintenance, including work on tires, air brakes, wheel seals, swing doors, and DOT inspections.
Compensation: Pay ranges from $27-$31 per hour, based on experience, with weekly payments.
Shift Availability: Tuesday - Saturday, 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate vehicle records and reports, both manually and digitally.
- Conduct repairs and preventative maintenance on trailers.
- Perform safety inspections and prepare necessary documentation.
- Adhere to all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Inspect and service the undercarriage of vehicles.
- Access all areas of the vehicle for maintenance tasks.
- Remove and install various vehicle components.
- Engage with clients as needed.
- Complete additional tasks as required.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Experience with Class 8 tractor trailers and BIT/DOT inspections.
- Knowledge of preventative maintenance, tire care, and electrical systems.
- Must possess personal hand tools and toolbox.
- Proficient in computer applications, including Excel, Word, and Fleet Management Systems.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Working Environment:
- Exposure to heavy traffic while performing job duties.
- Work in conditions with dust, diesel fumes, and noise.
- Handling of chemicals, oils, and greases.
- Physical demands include bending, stooping, and crawling.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
