Senator Judith Zaffirini is seeking a highly organized and efficient Temporary Administrative Aide to assist with the management, storage, organization, and transportation of both physical and digital documents on a short-term basis until August. This role is key in ensuring the orderly handling of office documentation and involves significant responsibility in maintaining confidentiality and precision.
**Responsibilities**
**Storage and Archiving**:Securely store all physical and digital documents and ensure they are archived according to organizational standards.
**Document Logging and Tracking**:Accurately log all documents and maintain up-to-date and retrievable files.
**Organizing Documents**:Maintain organization of all active files and ensure proper archiving of outdated documents.
**Assisting in Document Movement**:Aid in the physical and digital transfer of documents, including packing and moving documents between offices as required.
**Supporting Staff**:Collaborate with staff to ensure document management aligns with ongoing projects.
**Confidential Handling**:Manage sensitive information with the highest level of confidentiality.
**Requirements**:
Proficiency in the use of standard office equipment, computers, and software, especially
Microsoft Word and Excel, Google Calendar, and Dropbox.
Ability to communicate effectively.
Graduation from a standard senior high school or equivalent is required; undergraduate work or graduation from an accredited institution of higher education preferred.
Excellent driving record with a current Texas driver's license, ability to drive long distances, and a reliable vehicle.
