Located in East Peoria, Illinois WEEK-NBC serves the Peoria /Bloomington and central Illinois region. As a legacy number-one station in the market WEEK has been transmitting for more than 65 years. WEEK-TV transitioned to a Gray Media Inc. station on August 2, 2021. WEEK-TV is an award-winning station that leads the community in local news coverage and community involvement.

**Job Summary/Description**:
Gathering information and stories from team members, feeds, sister stations, and networks throughout the day. Collaborating with news management to select and prioritize content within rundowns. Adding stories and elements that will make the newscast more attractive for viewers.

**Qualifications/Requirements**:

- ️ Some newscast-producing experience, such as at a college level, is required. This is a great opportunity for a college student about to transition into their first full-time journalism job with an opportunity for growth and advancement.
