**Recovery Residential specialist** (RRS) work within a group home setting with clients overcoming addiction. CHD’s Aster House serves members of the community who are living with a duel diagnosis of mental health and addiction. This distinctive therapeutic setting is meant to be a bridge to a more permanent setting or independent living.
Responsibilities include:
- Provide direct services to program clients that live in a group home setting in the community.
- Supporting clients' activities of daily living, administering medications as needed, advocating for individuals' within various community settings,
- Providing opportunities to optimize their independence, rehabilitation and recovery.
- Develop professional and supportive relationships with clients and provide informal counseling and guidance with a person-centered focus.
Qualifications:
- Have a high level of emotional intelligence and understanding of people living with addiction, mental illness and in recovery.
- Must have a vehicle for work use and current driver's license; ability to complete medication administration training
