**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS**- Applications $15,000 and below-

- Search for new opportunitiesMaintain a branded presence for partner agencies online, in person, and in print, which entails:

- Coordinating donor mailings-
- Designing marketing materialsHosing tables and welcoming participants at community events-
- Attending community meetingsPlan, coordinate and implement logistics of special events and minor fundraising for CHILL and CAC, which entails:
- Working in conjunction with the donor relations team to develop a solicitation strategy and materials for corporate donors.-
- Identifying in-kind donors and soliciting donors for products and services related to events.-
- Accurately maintaining event information, including sources of revenue and expenditures.-
- Accurately maintaining all Philanthropy databases associated with events.-
- Coordinating work with external and internal audiences including vendors, volunteers, staff members and donors.-
- Coordinating delivery & pick-up of materials supporting fundraising activities.-
- Work with Marketing to design and create event marketing materials including, brochures, t-shirts, flyers, signage, programs, etc.-
- Ensure regular, personalized, and timely communication with donors and prospects.-
- Ensure timely and accurate donation recording, tracking and acknowledgement.Collaborate with internal teams and SCAN and effectively document marketing performance, which includes:
- Analyze and report on the performance and efficiency of campaigns.-
- Conduct market research and analyze trends to identify new marketing opportunities.-
- Work with board, marketing and donor relations to develop and monitor strategic marketing initiatives.Provide Marketing and Fundraising support to SCAN as needed.

Performs other duties as assigned.

**QUALIFICATIONS (CORE COMPETENCIES, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE)**- Team building skills are essential with multiple disciplines within, as well as outside the organization (i.e.: volunteers, staff members, board/committee members, supporters of SCAN and the public)-
- Personal Accountability-
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills-
- Understanding of graphic design and Adobe Creative Suite to produce marketing pieces.-
- Ability to tell a compelling story consistent with the brand identity, public relations strategy, and marketing plan.-
- Understanding of different language styles that appeal to various target markets.-
- Extensive knowledge of computer software (Microsoft Office Suite), ability to implement donor database software.-
- Ability to manage several projects at once and meet deadlines.-
- Must possess a valid driver’s license.**PHYSICAL DEMANDS**
- This is largely a sedentary role.
- Requires the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets or bend and stoop, as necessary.
- Requires the ability to occasionally lift office supplies, materials, and equipment up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to drive, as well as use dependable transportation.

**EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK**
- Flexibility in hours is allowed, must work to meet the needs of the agencies served. May include evening and weekend work based on community events.

**REQUIRED EDUCATION**
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business administration or related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in marketing.
- Experience/certification in graphic design.
- Strong knowledge of various marketing tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Mailchimp and Squarespace.
- Excellent analytical skills and knack for data analysis.

**PREFERRED EDUCATION**
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, public relations or communications.
- 2-4 years of experience with graphic design.
- 2-4 years of fundraising and events.
