Bookkeeper

**Job Description**:
- Manage all aspects of day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting processes including but not limited to: A/P, A/R, credit card charges and reconciliation.
- Process and pay all invoices in a timely manner.
- Assist in receiving and depositing all organizational revenue to the correct bank accounts.
- Process agency billing. (PCA, CNOM, DHS, and NHP)
- Update and maintain billing procedures.
- Collect and update employees’ timesheets.
- Assist with tracking of office inventory.
- Assist the Finance Director with preparation for the year-end audit.
- Enroll eligible employees in Health Insurance, Dental and Life Insurance benefits.
- Perform non-routine tasks requiring strong judgement and initiative.
- Other duties as assigned.
**Requirements**:
**Education/Qualifications**:
- **_ Degree in accounting, finance or related field is preferred._**:
- 2-3 years’ experience in accounting functions such as accounts payable/receivable or cash management.
- Experience working with grants and understanding of federal and state award requirements a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, detail-oriented
- Ability to work in multi-project environment and adhere to deadlines.
- Strong communication skills
- Proficiency using MS-365/Microsoft Excel, Word, QuickBooks, Zoom
- Detail oriented as exhibited by past work experiences.
- Ability to deal effectively with a diversity of individuals at all organizational levels.
