**General Summary**_:_** Develops relationships with clients to increase revenue. Pursues relationships with potential new accounts and identifies business opportunities to sell to current and new businesses. Drives retention and growth among customers by understanding their business needs and helping them succeed. Has detailed knowledge of products and services offered and ensures that products and services consistently meet client needs. Generate profitable sales growth through existing product lines and the development of new product lines.

**Essential Functions**:Additional duties may be assigned**:

- Creates profitable new business opportunities by cultivating strong business relationships and proactively engaging with current and prospective new customers.
- Understands what the customer values and delivers valuable solutions. Ensure that all customer needs are handled promptly and accurately beyond their expectations.
- Resolves customer concerns by seeking to understand the full scope of the problem, defining the solution, and following through to resolution. Maintains a cadence of communicating with customers to ensure client satisfaction and promote ongoing partnerships.
- Collaborates with GM to create compelling and individualized marketing, and presentation materials.
- Recommends changes in products, services, and policies by evaluating results and competitive developments.
- Collaborates with manufacturing and engineering to develop and design products that can generate profitable growth.
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
- Creates proposals by working with management to price orders depending on the size and complexities.
- Maintains communication with the team through activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses. Along with sales projections for budgeting and planning.
- Consistently meets and exceeds the sales goals and objectives established by management.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Adhere to all company procedures, values and policies so that you provide an accurate representation of the company to all potential and current customers.
- Perform your duties as efficiently as possible, reducing costs when possible, and maintain accurate receipts for all job-related expenses and submit them as required.
- Coordinate with the accounts receivable department to ensure that all invoices are paid in full in a timely manner by your customers.

**Minimum Qualifications**:

- 1-3-year of sales experience; experience in the waste container industry is preferred.
- High school education or equivalent with 2 years post-high school business coursework or sales training.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook and CRM technology and ERP systems
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, including ability to plan, manage time well, make decisions, negotiate terms or solutions, and maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to plan, execute, and achieve sales goals through a strong motivation for sales and the management of client relationships.
- Proficient in prospecting, negotiation, customer service, closing, technical knowledge, competitive advantage, and collaboration, and territory management.
- Honest, self-motivated, conscientious, dependable, competitive, self-confident, efficient, organized, thorough, accurate, effective, self-starting, maintains professional composure under pressure, enthusiastic, knowledge retention, competent, and creative.
