**Boys & Girls Program - Program Operations Manager**

The Boys & Girls Club of Lake County is seeking a full-time Program Operations Manager to support the success and effectiveness of our programs while upholding safety standards and fostering community engagement.

**What You’ll Do**

The Program Operations Manager, who reports to the Director of Programs & Impact, is responsible for the following:

- Collaborating with the program team to identify training priorities, lead sessions, and manage logistics effectively.
- Providing comprehensive training to program staff, ensuring clarity on program quality expectations and essential skills.
- Conducting routine site visits to evaluate program quality and ensure compliance with site procedures.
- Ensuring strict adherence to safety compliance standards to maintain a safe environment for all participants.
- Leading family engagement efforts through monthly events and managing external communications, such as a weekly parent newsletter.
- Conducting regular audits of site recruitment and retention plans to meet quarterly benchmarks.
- Maintaining detailed records for program, safety, outcomes, and staff tracking and reporting purposes.
- Coordinating opportunities for volunteer engagement in collaboration with the resource development team.
- Organizing off-site program events, such as field trips, in coordination with program coordinators to ensure proper procedures are followed.
- Compiling staff schedules for special programming outside of the regular schedule, facilitating efficient resource allocation and smooth program execution.

- **Efficient Coordination**: Your adept coordination of volunteer engagement opportunities and organization of off-site program events ensures smooth execution and maximum impact, enhancing program effectiveness and community involvement.
- **Resource Optimization**:Through your meticulous compilation of staff schedules for special programming, you facilitate efficient resource allocation and seamless program execution, maximizing program outcomes and participant satisfaction.

**Required Experience and Qualifications**
- Demonstrated knowledge, experience, and expertise in Youth Development, Psychology, and K-12 Education and Supportive Services
- At least 2 years of non-profit/government coordinating similar programs.
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written
- Excellent time management and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple projects/assignments and deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution of higher learning in education, human or social services, or a related field of study
- Flexibility in schedule with the ability to support sites as needed.
- Ability to travel between sites and within and outside the community as necessary.

**Preferred Experience and Qualifications**
- Previous Experience working in the Lake County Community
- Master’s Degree in Relevant Field
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
- A relevant combination of Education and Experience will be considered to meet requirements. _

**Physical Requirements/Work Environment**
- Ability to climb stairs and to lift items over 50 lbs.
- Mobility to perform active programming needs.
- Ability to perform any other position duties.
