Hello,

My name is Shannon, and I am a Recruiter with The Fountain Group. We are a national staffing firm and are currently seeking a ­­­­­­­­IT Project Manager for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in ­­ Waukegan, IL. Details for the position are as follows:


Job Description:

Duration: 6 months

Pay: $52.00- $55.00/hr on W2.

Experience and Skills:

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in IT utilizing standard methodologies.
  • 5 years in a project leadership role demonstrating project planning and implementation proficiency.
  • Proven track record in managing projects and leading cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to manage and be accountable for multiple medium and small projects concurrently.
  • Self-motivated with excellent planning, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Project, Excel, Word, and Visio.
  • Experience in a broader enterprise/cross-division business unit model preferred.
  • Capability to thrive in a matrixed and geographically diverse business environment.
  • Adaptability to work in both team and individual contributor roles in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, able to communicate effectively across various organizational levels.
  • Exceptional multitasking abilities, prioritization skills, and adherence to deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational and follow-up skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field. Experience with healthcare applications is a plus.

Duties:

  • Assume overall accountability and responsibility for planning and managing resources and processes involved in developing and implementing strategic and tactical application and infrastructure projects.
  • Manage all task activities and staff assigned to projects.
  • Utilize solid initiation, communication, and organizational skills to foster an effective team environment.
  • Plan and execute IT projects including initial investigations, requirements definition, scope management, scheduling, issue management, quality assurance, budgeting, risk analysis, contingency planning, change management, and overall project control and coordination.
  • Monitor and report project status to stakeholders.
  • Manage project teams, relationships, and execute and improve IT processes.
  • Ensure compliance with U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, other regulatory requirements, Company policies, operating procedures, processes, and task assignments.
  • Maintain positive and cooperative communications and collaboration with all levels of employees, customers, contractors, and vendors.
