**Job Title**:Temporary HR Coordinator - Zumiez Corona Facility
**FLSA Status**:Non-Exempt
**Reports To**:HR Manager Supply Chain and Retail
**Pay Range**: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
**Schedule**: Full-time, Monday through Friday
**Location**: In-office at the Corona Facility in Corona, CA
**Effective Date**: June 2024
**Duration**: Minimum one month, June 2024
**Position Summary**:
The HR Coordinator supports the data integrity in our Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS). The position provides support with new employee onboarding process, and guarantees adherence with all established policies and procedures with new-hire processing. This position supports separations and general administration for the office.
**About the Corona Facility and our Canadian Distribution Center**:
Our facilities in Corona, CA and Delta, BC support a number of key functions of our business including but not limited to the following:
- Product distribution to our North American retail locations
- Online order fulfillment for Zumiez and third-party partners
- Direct to garment printing production
**Core Responsibilities**:
- Supports ZCF managers in onboarding and offboarding of their employees through support of hiring events, processing I-9s, printing employee badges, and executing terminations in compliance with California regulations.
- Performs customer service functions by troubleshooting and resolving employee requests pertaining to our HRIS and ATS systems.
- Conducts background checks and assists employees with completing the onboarding process.
- Manages the program and administration of pre-employment drug screening.
- Process unemployment claims through third-party vendor.

**Preferred Qualifications and Experience**:
- Coursework in Human Resources, business, or related field preferred
- 1+ years of HR work experience
- Career oriented in nature and strong desire to work at Zumiez
- Experience with UKG Pro (HRIS) and ADP's Recruiting Management (ATS)
**Physical Demands and Work Environment**
- Ability to sit at a workstation in an office environment for extended periods of time and work on a PC without limitations.
- Ability to move about, sit, bend, and squat in an office environment in order to access files and gather information.
