The Human Resource Generalist helps facilitate functions of the Human Resource department including employee timekeeping, benefit administration, leaves, record keeping and enforcing company policies and practices.

**Reports To**:HR Manager

**SUMMARY**:
The Human Resource Generalist oversees critical functions within the Human Resource department, including efficient onboarding, compliance oversight, and project management of HRIS systems. They are instrumental in promoting employee engagement, retention, and cultural alignment.

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Conduct new hire orientation.
- Maintain accurate information on HRIS and other employee platforms.
- Monitor employee training programs and ensure completion through audits.
- Ensure company policies comply with legal requirements.
- Administer benefits and oversee employee leaves.
- Set up payroll for employees and temporary workers.
- Manage workers' compensation administration.
- Complete administrative tasks for employee changes and ensure files are updated.
- Lead assigned projects.
- Fulfill all compliance reporting requirements at federal and state levels.
- Utilize HRIS system expertise to generate custom reports.
- Handle employment-related inquiries, escalating complex or sensitive matters appropriately.
- Participate in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
- Plan and execute onsite and offsite employee engagement events.
- Adhere to all rules and regulations outlined in the employee handbook.
- Follow safety policies at all times.
- Uphold ESL core values.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Bilingual proficiency is preferred, but not required.
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Effective time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Proficient analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Demonstrated integrity, professionalism, and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

**EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE**:

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent HR experience required.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in Human Resources.

Pay: $31.25 - $33.66 per hour
