**_ Principal Duties and Responsibilities_**

Supervise the daily functions of the Quality Control Team:

- Supervises the team responsible for quality control of a variety of functions including discharges and lien releases, UCC filings, critical file maintenance, flood loans, post closing loan and legal documents, respond to legal notices, file imaging and review of loan set-up documents.
- Supervises the processing of report review, transaction verification and reconciliations. Maintains and supervises strict approval controls for required reviews.
- Oversees and ensures back-up of all duties related to the efficient review of new loan data entered to the core system and performing new loan quality control.
- Supervises and reviews file maintenance in the core system as needed or directed.
- Monitors performance of and ensures back-up quality control for all commercial loan documents, both credit and collateral, imaged into the Bank’s imaging system to ensure acceptable completeness and quality of image.
- Supervises and ensures back-up for filing of UCC continuations, processing of loan discharges and releases of other types of liens so that they are processed in a timely and accurate manner
- Oversees and monitors the process for checking daily file maintenance reports to verify that critical file maintenance has been approved.
- Oversees review and processing of legal notices, including subpoenas; communicates with attorneys, Deposit Services, pulls appropriate documentation and forwards copies to appropriate parties.
- Provides supervision and direction for the Loan Servicing Quality Control Team to include; monitoring the overall workflow, managing schedules to balance the workload; monitoring attendance, absences and overtime. Reviews and approves requests for time off. Assists Department Head with hiring, salary adjustments, annual review assessments and performance management.
- Identifies performance problems; provides guidance and recommends solutions.
- Assist Manager and Director in planning and implementing projects to increase efficiency, streamline processes, solve recurring problems and speed delivery within area of responsibility. Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis to implement process improvements. Present strategies for process improvements to higher management.
- Track data to ensure quality of customer service and adherence to related Bank, legal and regulatory policies and procedures. Directly handle larger and/or complex matters that may have contact with customers. Act as a liaison with other support areas in resolving customer concerns. Anticipate and recommend policies, procedures, products and solutions to improve service.
- Interpret and clearly communicate information, educate others, and make recommendations to effectively impact operations. Use appropriate communication tools to inform, persuade, direct, and influence individuals at different levels, both internal and external to the bank.
- Regularly monitors the accuracy, completeness and timeliness of activities performed within the Team. Identifies training opportunities and provides training as needed.
- Develops and implements new procedures and responds to changes in systems. Performs testing of new systems as needed. Ensures Team adherence with procedures.
- Maintains employee morale and harmonious working relations; assists and advises employees as to methods of problem solving, bank procedures and policies.
- Conducts periodic self-testing reviews to ensure tasks performed by the group have been done accurately and timely.

**_ Job Specifications (Skills, Knowledge and Abilities Required)_**
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent plus a minimum of 5 - 8 years of Loan Servicing experience is required
- Supervisory experience required, preferably in an operations or banking environment
- In-depth knowledge of bank operations, systems and Microsoft Office programs required
- Knowledge of Consumer, Residential, Commercial Loan and Legal Documents
- Document tracking system experience
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and aptitude for figures
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with mínimal direct supervision
