Lead Community Integration Skills Instructor

**Your role**: As a **Lead Staff**, you will assist program participants with pre-vocational and other independent living skills; assist program management with supervision of program staff (Skills Instructors) including proper programming for participants. Work with participants and seek opportunities to teach, train, and encourage independence for performing employment and living skills. Cover shifts during absences, call-out’s etc. Adhere to all safety standards, regulations and policies and trains staff and clients regarding safety standards as needed. Maintain a high level of professionalism and respect for others (staff, clients, management, and external parties) during all interactions. Maintains confidentiality in matters of participants, personnel, and Villa Esperanza Services operations; exercise good judgment in the performance of duties and responsibilities.
Villa's **Community Integration Program (CIP)** is a community based day program designed to meet the needs of adults living with intellectual/developmental disabilities who have a strong desire to work and would like to continue building their employment related skills through supervised volunteer opportunities, as well as independent living skills training.
**Schedule**: M - F, 7:30am - 4:00pm; Full-Time
**Compensation**:
- Starting at $21.00 - $22.00 per hour, DOE + mileage reimbursement provided
- Sign on bonus of $1,500
**Requirements**:
- Must be willing to drive your own vehicle (Mileage reimbursement provided twice a month at the IRS approved rate).
- Requires proper vehicle insurance and a valid CA Driver License.
- Applicants must have a good driving record that meets agency standards.
- Must be willing to use personal vehicle to drive within the community for work-related purposes.
- The position requires working in the field with clients approximately 75% of the time and 25% of the time in a clerical capacity as operationally necessary.
Pay: $21.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week
