**Job Duties**

This position is responsible for the finalization and release of the Court’s opinions and dispositional orders and the processing of all related filings.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
The duties of this position include 1) Reviews and finalizes opinions and dispositional orders for release electronically and/or in paper form to litigants and others; 2) proofreads correspondence prepared by Clerk’s Assistant; 3) prepares payment notices and orders for counsel; 4) serves as contact person for publisher or other subscribers regarding any questions on published opinions, prepares letters for publisher/subscribers regarding any corrections to opinions or any subsequent orders entered by Court, and prepares letters for publisher/subscribers regarding any changes in composition of Court; 5) prepares mandates in all cases decided by opinion, tracks mandates for certification, and prepares all correspondence related to mandates; 6) prepares any correspondence related to bills of costs, reviews bills of cost and/or any objections, and prepares orders to accompany mandate and itemized statement of costs; 7) prepares memos to panel for rulings on any motions or costs questions; 8) prepares orders for cases in which the Supreme Court reverses or amends any order or opinion of this Court; 9) prepares orders for payment of guardians ad litem; 10) handles inquiries regarding any dispositional orders and opinions; and 11) performs other duties as assigned by the Clerk.

**Minimum Qualifications**

Applicants must have a four-year college degree. Experience working in a court or law office is required. Experience working with civil law and procedure is preferred. Applicants must possess an excellent knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Adobe, and related computer programs. Applicants must have experience dealing with a high volume of work under time constraints, as well as be able to multi-task. Applicant’s work history should include working well with colleagues and the public.
