**Primary Responsibilities**
- The Director of Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH) will work with a team of Regional and Area Managers to ensure all onsite personnel are properly supported and to maximize operating performance. Provides leadership towards achievement of the corporate mission and strategy while achieving annual and quarterly division goals and objectives.
- Supervises and works with a team of Regional and Area Managers to ensure all onsite personnel are properly supported and to maximize operating performance.
- Oversees a portfolio of Regional and Area Managers to ensure they are preforming duties in accordance with their job descriptions.
- Ensures all policies and procedures of our clients are implemented.
- Represents the company and participates in industry associations.
- Leads operationally focused meetings and inspections with owners, investors, and lenders.
- Assists in hosting regular Regional Manager Meetings and bi-annual Community Manager Meetings to discuss and review progress towards goals, train, as well as discuss and resolve any outstanding issues.
- Assists in the creation, review and approval of property operating budgets.
- Reviews and monitors monthly financial reporting.
- Works with Regional Managers on their under-performing properties as defined by budget expectations and numbers of and severity of incidences.
- Develops strategies for acquiring additional clients.
- Works directly with Asset Managers and Ownership.
- Participates with COO and President in determining the most effective means of implementing full management services for new acquisitions.
- Determines alternative management strategies for existing properties when required.
- Develops supportive relationships with external resources to provide additional support to staff of PSH properties due to the complicated nature of the tenant base.
- Coordinates ongoing training regarding crisis management, mental health issues, substance abuse issues and personal safety on a quarterly basis.
- Develops internal communications and idea sharing between staff amongst all Hyder PSH properties.
- Ensures additional procedures are developed which may be required depending on the specific population being housed.

- Continuously guides and mentors team of Regional and Area Managers to ensure their success.
- Directs and supervises staff with regards to training, motivation, discipline, and career development.
- Maintains a positive, cohesive work environment to attract and retain top level leaders throughout the organization.
- Works effectively with co-workers, customers, and others by sharing ideas in a constructive and positive manner; listening to and objectively considering ideas and suggestions from others; keeping commitments; keeping others informed of work progress, addressing problems and issues constructively, and respecting the diversity of our workforce in actions, words and deeds.

**Qualifications**
- Must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience as Regional manager.
- Must be knowledgeable in the programs that govern the properties they oversee
- Must keep current certifications regarding Health & Safety, fair housing sexual harassment and other courses as assigned by the company
- Must also have a strong work ethic and be reliable to work independently
- Excellent communication (written & verbal) and customer service skills
- Ability to solve problems with tenants, vendors, employees with a calm professional rational demeanor
- Ability to understand finances and work within a budget
- Knowledge of CA law and federal/state regulations governing property management
- Must have an understanding of the issues facing Special Needs populations including Mental Health issues, Substance Abuse issues and Domestic Violence.

**Education**

Prefer at least 2 years college

Pay: From $125,000.00 per year
