**Introduction**:
The Department of Health Services (DHS) (DHS), Division of Enterprise Services (DES) is recruiting to fill a limited Term Employment (LTE) Inventory Control Coordinator.

This position is located at 1 West Wilson Street in the heart of downtown Madison, near the State Capitol, the Madison Metro route, and the Capital City bike path.

Work hours are **Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm **for approximately 6 months.

This is a LTE employment position. LTE positions work no more the 1039 hours in a 12-month period, do not automatically lead to permanent state employment, and are not provided benefits.

**Position Summary**:
As an Inventory Control Coordinator (ICC), you will be responsible for duties such as order processing, record keeping, distributing stock/items throughout the building, restocking inventory, sorting and routing incoming mail and determining the most appropriate shipping method for outgoing mail as needed.

ICCs use inventory software for uploading data and generating reports as requested. They also review and update monthly fleet vehicle records and process mileage reports and billing.

**Salary Information**:
The starting pay is $18.12 per hour.

**Job Details**:

- All applicants who may be appointed to this position will be required to allow DHS to conduct a background check to determine whether the circumstances of any conviction may be related to the job being filled.
- This position has physical requirements which may include but are not limited to lifting up to 53 lbs. Applicants may be required to pass a physical evaluation to assess these requirements.

**Qualifications**:
Minimally qualified applicants will have both of the following:

- Experience providing customer service including tasks such as responding to inquiries and providing assistance to internal and external customers.
- Experience with inventory management tasks (e.g., sorting and processing deliveries, pulling stock according to requests, reviewing and updating data in spreadsheets or database, etc.).

Well-qualified applicants will also have:

- Experience working in a mailroom or warehouse.
