**This is a full-time, supervisory position. On call is required and shift coverage may be required in the case of an emergency.** Duties include assisting the Health Services Director with scheduling, overseeing and managing the nursing department. You will be responsible for creating and implementing individualized treatment plans, supervising and assisting with medication administration, treatment provision, documentation, and communicating with both doctors and the interdisciplinary team.

**Salary**: $80,000 +
**Responsibilities and Duties**
Assist the Health Services Director with the overall provision of nursing services for residents. All residents have a primary diagnosis of mental illness. Therefore, there are no skilled nursing services provided at this facility. The scope of care consists of: medication administration, treatment administration (eye drops, creams and ointments, ear drops, inhalers, etc.), diabetes monitoring and care and treatment for minor injuries (cuts, scrapes, bruises, hospital aftercare). Other nursing department duties involve charting and documentation, communicating with doctors, treatment providers, families and community stakeholders, communicating and working collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team (social services, dietary, direct care staff, etc.).
The supervisory tasks include: overseeing the provision of the above services and providing such services as needed, scheduling the nursing department, providing training and in-services, participating in treatment planning and interdisciplinary team meetings, maintaining communication with administration, and conducting or overseeing resident assessment and evaluation.
