**JOB SUMMARY**:
The Purchasing and Inventory Manager provides an exciting blend of strategic and tactical responsibilities related to one of the company's primary objectives of enhancing customer value. Reina Imaging has a 30+ year history of 100% on-time delivery and this position is a key driver in sustaining this elevated level of performance. Working with the Project, Engineering, Quality and Manufacturing managers, you will strategically plan, forecast, and provide oversight to the execution of purchasing, inventory control, and shipping / receiving functions at Reina Imaging. This role focuses on the support of production scheduling by the timely acquisition of quality materials and products to meet production schedules and customer requirements.

This position requires a strong leader who is also a hands-on team player and ready to get his hands dirty, when required and who will provide tactile direction, work directly with, and provide oversight to the procurement, manufacturing, warehousing and distribution functions and who desires supportive and collaborative experience as a member of the Senior Management Team at Reina Imaging. Drives leadership in all business interactions with the supplier community and sets the tone for continued customer satisfaction. [TR1]

Relationship management with Suppliers and Supplier Representatives. Increase the diversity and quality of the supplier pool.

This position resides at our corporate headquarters in Crystal Lake, IL.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Provide leadership and management of the Procurement, Warehousing, and Distribution functions.
- Establish the systems and processes that meet the needs of the business.
- Publish and maintain comprehensive purchasing policy & procedures SOPs offering individual/department guidelines and specific requirements of ISO 13485/9001, etc., as well as the basic contractual requirements.
- Create templates and checklists to be used by the individual team members to ensure legal and regulatory compliance are within the frame work of company policies.
- Establishes and conducts a compliance-training curriculum for team members and purchasing personnel.
- Conduct negotiations with suppliers to meet the company’s needs and review significant contracts.
- Drive On-Time delivery metrics and ensure Supplier Quality performance metrics are maintained and execute corrective actions, as necessary.
- Trains and develops best practices within functional areas including shipping, receiving, purchasing and inventory control.
- Leads the physical inventory count process on an annual basis.
- Direct management of critical project shipments
- Coordinate Cost Reduction activities.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Four-year college degree, in a technical or science-related field.
- Five to ten years of purchasing or related materials management experience.
- One to three years of supervisory or management experience is required.
- Proven track record of success utilizing WoW.
- Demonstrated success in inventory control management.
- Hands-on experience purchasing components for custom machine, manufacturing/assembly.
- Previous experience with logistics management.
- Broad knowledge of purchasing function concepts including supplier processes and practices.
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills in English for report writing, presentations, and interactions with diverse groups of people inside/outside of the company.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Windows-based office programs and ERP systems.
- Procurement: 3 years (required)

- Supply chain management: 1 years (required)
- WoW/ Similar : 1 years (required)
- Must be able to pass E-Verify check
