1 to 1 Tutoring is the largest and fastest-growing tutoring company in Arizona. We offer tutoring before, during, and after school. We have active contracts with ADE, Districts, Charter Schools, and Private Schools throughout the Metro-Phoenix area to provide school-based intervention services.

We are contracting with Phoenix Union High School District to provide tutors in each of the 22 schools in the district, equalling 155 tutors total. Tutoring will be in a push-in format, you will work within a class, under the teacher of record, focusing on at-risk students who need extra support understanding the instruction being delivered. In addition, you will do mini-lessons with students to fill in gaps. Your role will be to find creative ways to help students understand the standards and lessons individually, who may not get it when the teacher is instructing to the class, the first time.

**Job Duties**:

- Instruct in small groups.
- Maintain individualized skill-appropriate lesson plans provided for you by 1 to 1 Tutoring.
- Maintain consistent communication with company supervisors, classroom teachers, principals, and parents.

**Qualifications**:

- Teacher Certification (preferred)
- Degree (required)
- Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card (required)
- Previous experience in teaching, tutoring, or other related fields (required)
- Ability to build rapport with students
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
