The Department of Technology, Management and Budget supports the business operations of state agencies through a variety of services, including building management and maintenance, information technology, centralized contracting and procurement, budget and financial management, space planning and leasing, construction management, motor vehicle fleet operations, and oversight of the state retirement systems.

**About this position**:
This State Administrative Manager is responsible for supervising and directing the budgeting and accounting functions for the Department of Management and Budget Pension (and Other Employee Benefit) Trust Funds, including 457 and 401K Plans, and the Pension Benefits and Other Postemployment Benefits Funds for the Michigan Public School Employees’ Retirement System, State Employees’ Retirement Systems, Michigan State Police Retirement System, Judges’ Retirement System, and Military Retirement Provision. Directly oversees and supervises accounting staff and assignments related to the Pension Benefits and Other Postemployment Benefits Funds. Oversees and supervises Accounting Manager 14 whose staff are responsible for the 457 and 401K Plans, the Office of Retirement Services (ORS) Administrative Budget, and the system enhancement testing functions as they pertain to accounting financial reporting.
