Job Summary:
**Duties**:
- Prepare and review tax returns for individuals or businesses
- Assist clients with tax-related inquiries and provide expert advice
- Work independently while performing Prep & Review tasks
- Collaborate with clients to develop tax planning strategies for the upcoming fiscal year
- Stay up-to-date on changes in tax laws and regulations
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA certification preferred but not necessary
- Proficiency in tax preparation software (Ultra tax) and Quick Books desktop
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience in private equity accounting
- Knowledge of double-entry bookkeeping principles
- Familiarity with balance sheet reconciliation
- Ability to interpret Balance Sheets/Income Statements
- Previous experience in Public accounting a must
**Job Type**: Part-time
Pay: $30.00 - $55.00 per hour
Expected hours: 12 - 20 per week
